Practice Areas:
Kirstin Jamison is a lawyer in the insurance, personal injury, estates, and employment law practice groups. Kirstin started as an articling student at Harris & Brun in 2024. She had previously worked as a paralegal at two other insurance defence litigation firms prior to and during law school. Before that, she worked as a general/legal administrative assistant at a boutique family law firm while attending university. She had been working in the legal field over 10 years before joining Harris & Brun for her articles. Kirstin uses her prior work experience to provide a person-focused approach to her law practice, ensuring she produces high quality work while exercising empathy and compassion for the people involved.
Kirstin obtained her Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and her Bachelor of Legal Studies (Paralegal) Degree from Capilano University. She graduated with distinction from Capilano University and received the Dean’s Award. In law school, Kirstin received the Rosina and Gabriel Iacobucci Prize for achievement in Family Law and the Harper Grey LLP Prize in Insurance Law. She also volunteered as a student editor for the UBC Law Review and a communications representative for the Allard Law Women’s Caucus.
Kirstin has presented as a guest speaker at CapU’s paralegal program orientation and in the practicum class for graduating students.
Outside of work, Kirstin loves staying active with yoga, ballet, spin classes, seawall walks, and finding new workout classes. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and watching reality television (and is always open to recommendations).
