Darcy joined Harris & Brun in June 2020 as an associate lawyer after completing her articles with the firm under the mentorship of our senior counsel. During her articling year, Darcy also spent several months with the Legal Aid Commission of Newfoundland and Labrador, where she gained valuable experience in family law by representing clients in a wide range of matters, including custody, access, and support disputes. This early experience solidified her interest in family law, which she now continues to develop in British Columbia.

Darcy maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with a focus on insurance defence, personal injury litigation, professional liability and regulation, estate litigation, and family law. She also advises clients on wills and estate planning matters. Whether navigating a complex insurance claim, advising medical professionals on a regulatory investigation, or guiding clients through estate planning and litigation matters, Darcy brings a thoughtful, strategic, and compassionate approach to every file.

She is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients and is known for her clear communication, thorough preparation, and practical legal advice. Darcy is continually developing her expertise and expanding her practice areas to meet the evolving needs of those she represents.

Darcy earned her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University.

Outside the office, Darcy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, gardening, and participating in the vibrant life of the East Vancouver community she resides in.
