Biography
Greg Christofferson is an experienced trial lawyer with nearly two decades of practice in civil litigation and insurance defence. He joined our team following serving as In-house Counsel IV with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC).
During his time at ICBC, Greg was entrusted with complex, high-exposure files and regularly appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. In addition, he was selected as lead counsel on ICBC’s Trial Unit, a specialized group tasked with conducting trials on an emergency basis. While in this role, Greg continued to lead and manage a caseload of higher-complexity files and to provide strategic advice and second-chair support to other counsel. He is known for his practical, evidence-driven approach and his ability to synthesize complex medical and wage-loss evidence into a clear litigation strategy.
Called to the bar in 2006, earlier in his career, Greg practised with two respected regional firms, representing defendants in insurance defence and advising clients on a range of civil and administrative law matters.
Greg is experienced in representing clients in Provincial and Supreme Court, as well as before administrative tribunals, including the Review Division of WorkSafeBC and the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal.
Greg is known for his practical, evidence-driven approach to case preparation, risk assessment and strong courtroom advocacy. His experience strengthens our ability to deliver clear, strategic, and effective representation for our clients.
In his spare time, you can find Greg honing his curling skills at his local club. In the warmer months, you may find him in backpacking in the great mountain regions this province has to explore.
